The Neat Freak's Dream: Out of Sight Out of Mind Desk

101808outofsight01.jpgWe think we're in love with something not (yet) real: the “Out of Sight Out of Mind” (OSOM) table concept. The task desk is an organizing, neat freak's dream of a workspace, offering storage for just about anything you might normally have at a computer desk. The design is beautifully conceived using modular storage units which can be switched in and out for particular needs, notably for power outlet and cable management...

101808outofsight02.jpgThe front of the desk angles upward for ergonomic comfort...a nice touch for us who do illustrate or write with a pen/pencil (!) on occasion. And we love the face to face option, perfect for those of us who share a home office with a better half and who like a good game of Age of Empires III against one another!

101808outofsight03.jpgLike many of wonderful designs, this remains a concept-only for now. We have hopes someone like IKEA will purchase the idea and offer a simple modular system in a variety of desk space sizes.

Love. Want. Need. Am considering having my brother-in-law help me make from scratch. This is practically a customizable blueprint...and it's certainly a step up from the table-like system we've rigged to be a partners desk for now.
