The Nintoaster: 8-bit Pop Carts?

As much as we liked our Wii and Xbox 360 (which we both sold to purchase a new Nikon D90...priorities), there was something missing from the newfangled games that couldn't compare to the halcyon days of our gaming youth. Bathed by the 8-bit light of the original NES graphics and turned into near obsessed zombies by the early digital soundtracks, our hearts will always belong to the NES and SNES when it comes to gaming memories. Yeah, we're old. But we're not alone with our fondness for those 8-bit memories. Someone has even retrofitted a NES into a...toaster?

The Nintoaster is the creation of a San Antonio tinkerer and was recently sold via eBay for just a pixel over $200. Here's his description of his strange, but seriously awesome, tech mashup:

Ripped all the main guts out of the toaster and replaced them with an NES board, some orange LEDs, AC adapter and controller ports. Kept the front lever functional as the main power on/off switch and the crumb tray just for fun. Composite audio/video jacks are on the rear of the unit. The temperature knob does nothing.
