We normally stay clear away from the rumour mill, especially regarding Apple products (it almost always results in disappointment), but this report caught our interest due to personal reasons. Touchscreen Remote for New Apple TV?
The Boy Genius Report supposedly was tipped off with this photo of a “product mockup that may coincide with the launch of a revised Apple TV.” We hope it's true, because frankly, the current remote control leaves a lot to be desired. Make it iPod nano sized, add a touchscreen interface with scrolling, and package it with a faster, bigger, better Apple TV and we might fall in love all over again (we currently just have a mild crush on our far from ideal model).

iphone/touch air mouse app = bliss, although not applicable here. The only problem with touchscreen remotes is that you have to physically look at the remote the do anything. Can be an annoyance at times.
