It may or may not be normal, but we often day dream about playing Mario Brothers. We didn't realize how upset we would be later in life that our mother sold our NES at a garage sale. Luckily, we can incorporate furniture inspired by Mario in our home.
The Mr Mario Headboard by Swedish designer Myrica is a great example of fantasy meets function. You don't even need to be a die hard fan of Mario like we are to enjoy this bed. It can be interpreted as a skyline, stacks of pixels or whatever it is you want to see. We obviously prefer imagining that it's a level from Mario though.
Myrica is most known for her laser cut headboards, and there's even a retailer in LA that sells her products.

also been obsessed with it lately, been playing my original NES a lot lately. My mom also gave ours away a long time ago, but luckily we had 2 (contest prize as the second one) and so i only lost some of my games when she gave it away.
I have been having some various video game related posts on my blog lately as well since i play mario almost daily (and since i am being mario for halloween...).
