Netflix to Charge More for Blu-Ray

Ugg, well we suppose they cost more, but seriously, Netflix was giving us Blu-Ray and HD-DVD for the same price before, so why increase prices now? Don't answer that. Anyway, we may see a split in the service with there being a "Premium All Access" type thing for those who can afford the extra coupl-ah dollars per month.

We are just getting our HD system in gear right now, so we couldn't take advantage of all that low-priced Blu-Ray before... sigh.

I bet it's because now that the format war is over, people are buying players so more people will be wanting the blu-ray disks.

I am skipping the disc thing all together this time. Its all going to be delivered to a box (like AppleTV or Tivo with Unbox) in HD in fairly short order. I no longer see the benefit of the discs.

We're just waiting for all the HD discs to be clearanced! We bought a cheap player right before blu ray was announced the "winner"
