Apartment Therapy Unplugged | Bloggers: We Want to See Your Workspace!

We want to see behind your scenes. We do it everyday, 9 times a day (or so), from three very different spots in North America. The one above is Kate's, where she usually does 2 of her 3 posts--we didn't think her living room floor would be nearly as interesting to picture--but UNLIKE Kate's, please stay focused on the home. Kate will work on getting an interesting shot of her home setup. Quality pics will get you posted faster.

So, we want to hear from you...and in return, we'll shine the spotlight on your blog. And, if your blog is about technology and/or home design/decor, we'll add you to our list of friends on the homepage. Maybe your workspace is your desk, maybe it's your teeny studio apartment--wherever it is, we want to see it.

No matter what your blog's about, please keep it clean for the family-friendly audiences of Apartment Therapy.

Kate's workspace is also the workspace for her "day" job, where she's a graphic designer. She decided to "wallpaper" her cube--from Paper Mojo--and decorate it nearly as much as she did her home because she spends more time there than at home, at least awake.

She used stemless wine glasses for pen and business card holders.

Although this is for her day job, it's a really useful tool: it's called an Energy Line, and helps her figure out her priorities. The idea is one of many great ones from Behance.

3. Always on/around her desk? Frou-frou coffee drinks; water, usually in a Sigg 1L water bottle; and large collection of dress shoes (she walks to work, so just keeps them there).
4. Not usually in her workspace? Much of her work library is stacked on the floor, holding her desk up as it's broken and awaiting a replacement part.
5. Motivation? It's awesome fun and interesting.
6. Favorite thing about workspace? The way it's decorated.
7. Interesting fact? Blog was mentioned in Time Magazine's Design 100.
8. Lucky enough to have a Herman Miller Aeron chair at work; have a Dell Lattitude D610 laptop and a Dell 18" (or so) LCD flat pannel monitor; the dual monitors is a new set up that she really likes.
