Everyone we know seems to be on Facebook...and we are constantly reminded that we shoud be too. Although we have yet to take the plunge into the world of Facebook, should that fact that our friends use it instead of MySpace make us feel good about who we associate with? A PhD candidate at Berkeley by the name of Danah Boyd has been studying blogging and social networking and to put it simply, 'good' kids use Facebook and 'bad' kids use MySpace. Do you agree? That's pretty much a huge overgeneralization and is overlooking the fact that when Facebook first launched it was "students only" as in you had to be in college or earlier... Of course that's going to skew the demographic!
