Philips has announced the upcoming release of the second generation of the extremely popular LivingColors lamp. It's going to be awesome to create new moods in your rooms.
Philips has announced the upcoming release of the second generation of the extremely popular LivingColors lamp. It's going to be awesome to create new moods in your rooms.
This new generation will allow users to create up to 16 million different colors with only 7 LEDs. These LEDs will produce a light intensity that's 50% more intense. There are 5 different models available this time around: block, crystal, floral, mineral, and white gloss.
That's not all. There will also be a standing lamp, a wall lamp, and two ceiling lamps. These lamps can produce a perfect white as well as your favorite color. These latest LivingColors lamps will easily adapt to your moods, and therefore, will be able to adapt your rooms to the moods you desire.
There is a touch-sensitive remote that controls these light. They will be available soon and will cost from $226 to $353.

I doubt a spotlight bulb like that will work very well in the FADO lamp. You would just get a circle of light at the top of the globe. The remote is IR, though, so it might or might not work through frosted glass...

OMG i have been waiting for these to come to the US forever. i'm so glad they are here. to modify surfacenoixz's question though, is there a date for the gen2 to be released in the US?
and what are the different models? do they just describe the pattern on the outside, or is the light in a different pattern, or what?
