Not to be outdone by the Blu-Ray debacle, Best Buy has followed on the heals of Circuit City's rebates to customers by issuing their own rebate for those who purchased HD-DVD players from their stores.
If you bought a player at Best Buy before February 23, 2008 and still have your receipt, you're eligible for a $50 gift card at the store. Didn't buy your player at Best Buy? They remind you of their trade-in service, that will allow your old machine in exchange for a gift card, as well. Although, we can't imagine that it would be for much, as the players are now virtually obsolete.
