When you bought your MacBook Pro, you may have noticed that it's power adapter was a bit larger than the rest of Apple's stock. Instead of being the small white cube, well it was a small white rectangle. The reason? Well, the MacBook Pro needed just a little more juice than the rest of Apple's laptops.
Engadget is reporting that Apple has finally redesigned the power adapter to a more reasonable size, and it will be available on Apple's site in the next 3-4 weeks. It's great news for all you laptop-toters out there, your load just got a little more lighter.

I think the drag here is that the MacBook Pro needs more power, not less.

Just a bit of advice regarding the mac power adaptor. No matter how tempting it is to wrap the cord tightly on the little flip out arms, do not do it unless you allow some slack where the cord comes out of the adaptor. It is common for the wires inside the cord to break. It looks fine on the outside, but it is not. An Apple Tech let me in on that.
