Macbook users take notice. It's reported that some Macbook hard drives are flawed, and while Apple is aware of the problem, no recall has been issued, yet.
The affected drives are model numbers ST96812AS and ST98823AS and found in Apple's MacBook or MacBook Pro. To determine if your computer may be affected, check your System Profiler application and look the revision number under the Serial ATA listing.
My serial number is one of the two listed, what should I do?

i've been through 2 macbooks because of hard drive issues . . . . but apple was very accomdating . . they have an internal policy where if you complain about the same issue enough times ( i think 5), they'll replace your macbook if you have applecare
