News: Some MacBooks Contain Flawed Drives

2007-11-28scratch071128.jpg

Macbook users take notice. It's reported that some Macbook hard drives are flawed, and while Apple is aware of the problem, no recall has been issued, yet.

2007-11-28-systemprofiler.jpgThe affected drives are model numbers ST96812AS and ST98823AS and found in Apple's MacBook or MacBook Pro. To determine if your computer may be affected, check your System Profiler application and look the revision number under the Serial ATA listing.
