OSX Leopard Update

2007_11_19 mac-os-x-leopard.jpg

Two weeks have passed and Apple has released the first update to Leopard. Notable updates include networking improvements for mixed OS setups and a change in the way the Finder moves files to external drives so that interrupted transfers don't result in data loss.

The optimist in us was hoping to see Time Machine support for Airport disks, but alas it was not meant to be. Hopefully in the next update.

I like some of the features of Leopard but it hangs from time to time: a problem I've NEVER had with Tiger. Grrrrrrrrrr.
