Sony Plans on Alarm Clock with iPod Dock

sony-alarm-clock-sz-090309.jpg Looks like Sony has even been intoxicated by the iPod/iPhone Kool-Aid -- Oh Yah!

The soon to be released ICF-CL75iP acts as one part digital photo frame, one part alarm clock, one part FM/AM radio, and one part iPhone/Touch speakers. It features a 7-inch color WVGA (800 x 480) LCD screen that you can screen photos or movies from either your iPhone or stored within the clock's 1-gig of built-in storage.

You have the option to wake up via radio, iPod/iPhone, nature sounds (Sea Waves, Birds, Rain, Brook, Under the Sea), or through a 10 second voice recording -- Wake Up!

It’s available for pre-order from SonyStyle Canada for about $180 USD.

I think it's hideous and overly complicated.

I just want a simple white clock radio with an ipod dock for my guest room and haven't been able to find anything at all. At least not anything with halfway decent reviews at a reasonable price. Is it even possible for under $50? Or even under $100?
