Sony Releases Another Firmware Update

073008_an_sony_playstation_242.jpgWhile we were enjoying our copy of Siren: Blood Curse today, we received a little notification that a new firmware update was available for download. After seeing how great it went last time, however, I think we'll hold off on running the update for a while.

 
 

According to Playstation Blog, the update does uh... this:

"Just wanted to give everyone a quick heads up that a PS3 firmware update (v2.42) is now available for download. This update improves the playback quality of some PLAYSTATION 3 and PlayStation format software."

And so I sit here scratching my head once again...
