Without pruning, apple trees bear no fruit.
We really took that to heart over the past six months as we planned for this redesign. We wanted to prune, simplify and provide room for growth. In this, Apartment Therapy's 2nd redesign since 2004, we've made one BIG change: we've combined all of our home design sites into one site and given our other four categories, cooking, children, tech and green, their own homes with room to grow. Take a tour and check it all out. Some parts are still under construction, but there's a lot new to see.

I mentioned this on the new kitchen site, but thought I'd put the same comment here:
The new site looks nice. I use a feed-reader to read the posts here, though, and am disappointed to find that the whole post doesn't come through anymore - only the first portion. I liked getting the whole post in my feed-reader and then coming to the site to comment or fill in a survey, etc. Any chance you'll go back to providing entire posts to this blog in the feed?

The purposeful misspelling of the new sites does not come off as professional. And why call the Tech site "Unplugged"??? This isn't an acoustic music site, and don't you still plug these items into an electrical source even if only to recharge batteries? Doesn't make sense...
