Now that Dell is getting into the cell phone business (read more...) do you think other computer companies or software will get into the game. We already heard enough rumors about gPhone. Will Androidâ„¢ and the Open Handset Alliance (read more...) bring other into the fold. Will we see the Firefox phone, Ubuntu phone or even an open source mac phone?

I'm concerned because all the IR components, wifi and radio will be located in the same area.

Has anyone ever hooked up an IR repeater system?
Is it complicated?
Expensive?
Any recommendations for equipment?

Very easy... you should look at crutchfield
The tech support is excellent. Having my stuff in either the other room or in a closet.
Just be watchful of the mhz. Wifi, cordless phone and so on....good luck.
