* Bluetooth
* OpenSource Ubuntu
* Tivo/MythTV
* iTouch (iPod Touch)
* Thumb Drives
* Wii
In no specific order, my dislikes:
* Vista (enough said)
* iPhone (mainly because anyone who buys one will have either an over priced one or outdated in two month. 3G is coming to an iPhone near you.)
* DVD format wars (someone is going to to loose and get stuck with a modern "Beta Tap Player")
* Paying for Internet Access. (everywhere else in the free world, internet access is free. Heck, even if you use AOL in Europe you do not have to pay. So, why here?)
* Hulu (NBC thinks that it can hold all their shows hostage.)
* Wii (yes, it is a love hate relationship. Not making enough, not lowering the prices and making to pay for thing in "Monopoly Money".
Thing that I want:
* 700 mhz bidding (geez start the bidding please)
* gPhone (enough said)
* Cheaper Energy Efficient Technology
* Bring Back Analog. (watching a baseball game on your mini television, while sitting in the cheap seats is a thing in the past)
* 100 mpg minimum by 2010. (35 mpg is a joke. Currently I get 55 mpg in my 2006 Jetta TDI. It not only can be done but it already exists.)

There's something about that picture that I love...the fascination with newness, and it can happen in any country, just swap out what they're looking at--or not--we have a universal fascination with the new and shiny.

-PDAs - I have a Palm that's probably pushing 5 years old and it changed my life. Would love an iphone, but I'm going to wait on that--for a different carrier and whatever else is coming up, as per the first comment. Also, hate to mess with success of the Palm (although mine's getting pretty cranky).
-Macs (I know, not a single technology)
-Wifi
-Google and its online everything

Ethernet over powerline. - You can network your house without new wires. You can also use it to extend the reach of your existing wireless network. I want to use it to hide a networked hard drive or two in the new year.
