yes! if by air you mean a smaller, lighter, laptop. I still miss carrying the 13 ibook which has been banished for years now in favor of this macbook monster(which i don't hate or anything)
But would I trade an internal optical drive or less processing power?
or if it is just a touch screen thing? then, no.
what about a useful appleTV like HDtuner, blueray, wireless, cheaper store stuff... then hell yeah.

I miss my 12" G4 laptop!!! My 13" Macbook is heavier, bigger, and buggier.
I use a laptop for presentations, writing, light computing, and travel. Heavy duty computations are done on a desktop. Therefore, I would be willing to sacrifice an internal optical drive and processing power.
