random, but: i got that belkin concealed power strip thing, and it's pretty frickin' sweet! i stuffed in a LOT more cables than its picture showed, but it hasn't snapped open yet...YET hehe. pricey, but worth it, 'specially for the non DIYer.

I did. Our TivoHD is on the fritz, then when DirecTV came to fix the problem, the guy didn't want to climb up on the ladder on a windy day. He told us to reschedule. It wasn't that windy in San Francisco.

I have an unrelated question...I often use my cell phone timer to remind me of various appointments etc. I'm wondering if there's some program or something that I could get for my mac to do the same? A simple thing that I could set so that a little bell would ring and remind me to stop working and go pick up my son at school? Does anyone know of such a thing?

$3500.00 KitchenAid side by side counter-depth fridge. Icemaker stopped making ice. I got passed around to 5 people before hanging up in frustration.
