Allsop Media Storage

2002-02-21-cdtower.jpgAre you feeling overrun by the media in your house? Does it seem like the entertainment companies are dictating how you decorate? Instead of finding furniture to house all of their packaging, Allsop's CD and DVD binders offer an attractive and minimal solution that allows you to decide how to incorporate your media into your living space.

The CD binder has space for 64 CDs, with the ability to squeeze in the liner notes if you would like. The DVD binder is slightly shorter than the CD binder, designed to include the case cover, and holds 40 DVDs (or CDs, if you prefer).

2002-02-20-allsopblackcd.jpgWhile we think the linen albums in black and natural are particularly nice, they may not fit your decor. Not to fear, Allsop has a range of materials including wood, leather, and plastic that would work well in any space.

Available here for $14.99.

cb2 used to make really sharp aluminum cd/dvd holders. i use 10 of these and a few of the same sort of blah boring boxes i see allsop has. i'm still looking for something i like as much as the cb2 product (that target link was weird).

I use case-logic binders myself for most of my CDs. Having to re-alphabitize the CDs is a bit of a pain, but I try to make it more than just an annual jaunt. But I like being able to hold more CDs in less space.

I have a rather large collection and used vinyl/poly sleeves from Univenture.com to store my collection. The sleeves are the nearly the same dimensions as a regular jewelcase, except for the width - you can fit 3 sleeves into the width of one jewelcase. Now that my entire collection has been converted, they function somewhat like a old-fashioned library card catalog. I use the poly standard jewelpak - see link below.
