Bluelounge Cable Box

2008_06_09 BlueLounge-CableBox-01.jpgBlueLounge, purveyors of slick looking cable management, have brought us the Sanctuary and the SpaceStation and now come with the CableBox.

2008_06_09 BlueLounge-CableBox-02.jpgThe CableBox addresses that mess of cables that tends to pool under your desk or entertainment center as soon as you more than two things plug into a power bar. A simple concept, it's really just a box with two slits to allow the cables to run out each end, the only thing I would be worried about is heat build up from the collection of wall warts in there. A perforated box would have been a better choice here but aesthetically it does do what it is supposed to.

yaknow, my belkin concealer doesn't really heat up, and there's not much more air flow than this brand. my current worry is stacking my lacie on top of my dell's power brick. talk about HOT, holy crap!

my only issue with the belkin concealer is there's not enough room for all the insane lengths of cord'n'cable to be neat and tidy. inside my concealer is a HEINOUS display of cable mgmt. ;)

i need me some zip ties!

It's very expensive for just a box with two slits.

I'm still a bit annoyed that BlueLounge listed the Sanctuary as supporting my BT headset, so I bought it, only to find out they made a mistake. I ended up having to hack the thing to get my 3 devices working because of this and they never responded to my support request.
