My girlfriend's office happens to also be our living room coffee table. That means a mess of USB wires, power cables, her iPod and digital camera are often strewn across alongside her laptop. It's almost as if the people at BlueLounge designed their SpaceStation laptop dock with my girlfriend in mind...
Here's what comes inside the SpaceStation box: angled plastic "accessory rail" (with rubber pad ontop to prevent slipping), a 5 volt wall adaptor, a plastic page holder.
Underneath is a wire management system that let's your wrangle in your Medusa's head of USB wires, all plugging into a 4-port USB hub. No rocket science here...just a great way to organize the wires, while also providing an angled surface to keep the laptop cooler with airflow and for cable accessibility. I also liked the additional paper holder, and all alongside the back of the accessory rail is a slot that holds business cards. My girlfriend's "office" just got a lot more organized (and if she tires of it, I can use this for my multimedia cabinet project).
The BlueLounge SpaceStation is available here in white or black.
My question is why didn't they go ahead and add a power strip in there, too??? That would make it pretty darn perfect!

My question is why wouldn't you want to buy a real dock so you don't have to deal with the wires every time you put your computer on your desk?
