Keeping track of all of the pieces for your software besides the actual software itself can be challenging...unless you're super organized, which we don't doubt that some of you are. For the rest of us, there's
Keyfiler Software License Management.
The great thing about Keyfiler that sets it apart is its proprietary, on-line program that goes above and beyond the Excel spreadsheet--and their backed-up server is a great guard for the info that, should your computer crash, you might not be able to recover and therefore spend a ton of time trying to track down.
The first 10 "keys" are free, meaning you can try out the program, save info on up to 10 programs, and see if it's right for you. Beyond that, it's $19.95 for 11-50 more keys, which is usually enough for the average home user.
The information also exports in CSV and XML, meaning you can also download it to your computer for reference if need be.
I'm really surprised this site is getting so much free press lately (or are they paying for all these posts?). I'm sorry, but with web security being what it is, as nice as the idea sounds, this just gives me the willies.
Besides, there are plenty of free alternative desktop applications, not least of which is KeePass. Sure, it'd be nice to have access to everything online, but a site like this might as well have a bullseye on it.

believe me, software serial numbers are not such a chore to work around or generate as to go through the trouble of trying to break into an SSL secured site.
