The MoDu media cabinet from the Swiss company Team by Wellis is a minimal and understated way of displaying your TV, both against a wall or in the middle of the room.

The integrated TV stand cradles your flat panel and appears to provide a conduit to run all the necessary wires down into the cabinet itself. Granted, the back of your TV would have to look as nice as the front of your TV in order for this to do double duty as a room divider, but thankfully there are options.

We just did this identical concept with some IKEA TV cabinets for about $240. We used the Anga TV unit, two of them side by side. And we offset our 32" LCD Screen, exactly like this only without the integrated mount.
