We can see this being very useful in the city, especially when your small space constantly has you located near the window. These patches basically cause the window to vibrate in a way that counteracts the noise attempting to come through the window. Don't worry, if these windows do make it to market, the piezo patches will be transparent and we are assuming the visible dots in the picture will be a non issue as well.
