Philips and Bliss Team Up to Battle Body Hair

061708_sz_bikinihair.jpg Ok boys, avert your eyes. This is a post for the ladies, and as far as you know, we ladies are naturally hairless.

During my jaunt at Digital Downtown I stopped by the Philips booth to find that the electronics company has teamed up with spa extraordinaire, bliss. Say what?!

061708_sz_blissphilips.jpgThe two companies have designed a $60 hair killing kit that comes with a Philips cordless personal trimmer with six attachments (precision trimmer, precision comb, epilator, micro shaver, micro trimmer, eyebrow comb), along with bliss' ingrown hair eliminating peeling pad and lemon+sage body butter. Epilators creep us out, but has anyone tried this? We're thinking this is just a brilliant marketing ploy by Philips to get its personal trimmers into female homes. Teaming up with bliss is a good way to market the double X chromosomes.

What are your hair free secrets?

I purchased this not that long ago when it was on sale on Amazon.com before it has been officially released. I still haven't made up my mind about it yet though. It is great for those small areas, but you have to change the head so many times it gets annoying. I wish they would have combined the small trimmer with the foil like a regular electric razor and kept it the small size. I it would be easier to get the smoothness. However, I do find that my old regular electric razor leaves smoother results.

I'm not sure I'm so interested in the product, but can I just say how totally delighted I am that the girl on the box was drawn with a tummy? Yay!
