Not everyone has a spare Apple G4 Cube case lying around, so there's the BiUbe Pure Aquarium for those of you who like to keep fish and other aquatic life on their desktop, complete with an advanced LED lighting system that changes light according to day and time...
The biUbe Pure is composed of a 9 gallons acrylic aquarium with a built-in filtration, making this a good option for small space dwellers who want to avoid the maintenance hassle of a full size system (though not as stylish as their Biorb Life aquarium) and/or don't have the space for a full size setup. We grew up tending a 40 gallon system and although our aquarium was a joy to keep, it was a lot of work and we couldn't imagine keeping it now that we live in a small second story apartment.
The "slimline Intelligent LED Light" switches from preset lighting sequences that include "natural gradual sunrise, sunset and blue moonlight", making it a decorative mood lighting system too. For those of you who like sea life instead of freshwater fish, the aquarium can also can be converted for marine life using a conversion kit and tropical heater pack. Otherwise, just add fish, water, plants and decorative feature.
I have some hardcore aquarium fans who don't like the biOrb. It's too vertical, and fish tend to swim horizontally. They sure do look nice though.
