Be careful with laser lights and cats! I drove my cat seriously crazy with one. We were just playing for awhile, and she seemed to be having fun, but when the laser went away, she wouldn't stop looking for it! She stared at the wall, jerking her head around, trying to catch the little red dot that was no longer around. I thought she would never let it go. I put the laser light away after that.
