I remember there's an AT post about the Kattbank during Pet Week. The general consensus was that it's cheaper to make your own (http://www.thisoldhouse.com/toh/knowhow/design/article/0,16417,1207059-3,00.html) or get Dave (a woodworker) to make one http://www.woodworksbydave.com/Litter%20Box%20Hiders.htm -- with the Kattbank, you're paying a lot extra for the style.

(Incidentally, trying to post this from Firefox gave me a 500 internal server error. I've never been able to log in properly from Firefox. Someone may need to take a look at the cookies situation.)

For some reason (and maybe it's just my cat) but unless this was outside (and then what's the point), I don't know how you would NOT smell the litterbox.

I made one! I made it while I was visiting my sister's house in another state, so I'm waiting for her to get around to shipping it to me so that I can assemble it and paint it. I'm very excited... She made one too, and from the photos she sent me it looks like it works very well in her house.

$2000! You've got to be kidding me! It's a great idea but one that could be executed for A LOT less than that.

Uh, so what's with the odor. If you can't smell it outside, then it must reak inside. Would a cat use such a smelly spot?
