GE Lifestyle Series Phones

2007-07-25-gelifestylebrown.jpgA recent trip to Target led us to discover GE's Lifestyle Series phones (which are strangely not up on their website.) Again, we are still a cell phone-only household. But if we needed to add a landline, we'd consider some of these models (at least based on their looks.)

What caught our attention was the low profile all of these phones had. No clunky candy bar shaped headset or rounded edges. No tired, old designs.

2007-07-25-gelifestylesilver.jpgThere are several models in this line, including a retro-inspired phone, the clock table top model (shown above), and a wall unit (at right) as well. All are reasonably priced between $30-50.

And while the phone's look sleek, we'd caution that you take a look at them yourselves before you head out and buy. The retro model had poor reviews on one site we looked at, stating that the call quality and reception were less than stellar.

These phones were designed and manufactured by Thomson Consumer Electronics based out of Indianapolis. They may be on the RCA website.
