We have a friend living in London temporarily, but long enough that she got a new London cell and a new London phone number. Both of those things make it a pain (an expensive pain) to call her up in the traditional way. Instead, Skype has been pretty good to our group of friends. But we have to admit, if it weren't for our exceptional situation, we probably would have never taken the step towards Skype calls at all. Something about it is just too unfamiliar for our tastes right now. But we know that all it takes is one great-looking product to make a sea of people go crazy and make that technology component the next hot thing (Was anybody making touch screen phones before the iPhone?). We think this concept for the Hanger Skype phone could start a chain reaction.
The Hanger Skype Phone sounds like a familiar premise: Pick it up to make a call and once you are done just hang it up to end the call. Except this phone does it all a little differently, hanging from a clothes hook-like stand.
