This Panasonic probably has way more features than are logical for a home cordless phone. It has your typical multi handset expandability, integrated answering machine and speakerphone, as well as some newer features such as downloadable ringtones and pictures assuming that you want to transfer the Crazy Frog ringtone from your mobile phone to your home phone.
The one feature that does stand out on this phone however is it's compatability with the Panasonic KX-TGA573 wireless camera
Probably most relevant for our friends over in the Nursery, the combination of this Panasonic phone and camera eliminates the need for a separate baby monitor setup by relaying the image from the camera to the colour lcd of the phone when the baby cries. For those of you without a newborn, creatively rigging the camera to always look out your door peephole could give you the ability to see who's at your door just by picking up the phone. The only issue in that case is what to do with the power cable?
