The Ringboxx allows you to download popular songs or soundbytes and set them as your home's ringtones. And just like your cell phone, each caller can get a specialized ringtone (including any 800 numbers.) We love the idea of knowing who's calling by the sound of the ring, but with more and more households doing away with their landline we wonder who the market will be.

If you're curious about how it works, Ars Technica has a thorough review of the product. The real downside is the cost, at $79.99 for the box and then $10 for 10 song credits, this isn't a cheap proposition. It also only works with a PC (for downloading the music, we suppose.) But if you're dying to find an alternative to your boring old ring, this could be the answer.
