The Ring Signaler: See Your Phone Ring

2008_09_29-phonesignaller.jpgAs someone with a 9 month old son, I have quickly realized that there are a couple of things that I had taken for granted pre baby. The first is that when adults are tired, they go to sleep. Simple. When babies are tired, they cry, fuss, toss and turn. Pretty much everything except go to sleep. Frustrating. What's worse, is that when baby is finally asleep, inevitably the phone will ring and ruin all your hard work. This is why we are liking the look of the Ring Signaler.

While I have gone to the trouble of silencing all the phones in the house, knowing when a call is coming in is left to the small indicator light on the phone itself. If you can't see the phone, the call is missed. What you do with the ring signaler is plug it into a phone jack and and electrical outlet. You can then plug any lamp into the Ring Signaler which will now flash every time you get a phone call. Since you can use any lamp that you want, aesthetically it sure beats some of the cheaper flashing light modules we have seen before. No cheapo flashing plastic box, you can actually use that Artemide Tolomeo instead.

Get it here for $60
