Canon SELPHY CP770 Photo Printer

unplggd-canon-selphy-gl.jpgWe're weren't quite sure at first whether Canon got into the beach pail market at first glance of their SELPHY CP770 printer. The portable printer sports a 2.5" color TFT screen ontop, accepts a myriad of memory cards, produces 300 x 300 dpi dye-sub waterproof prints, and also works wirelessly with a Bluetooth-enabled device and optional Bluetooth adapter. It will not help you build better sand castles though. Check out it in action under the jump...

I love that this design acknowledges the fact that people do not use their printers everyday. The idea of having a standard printer take up precious desk space when you only would be using it once or twice a month is silly. This is an elegant solution.
