Ever since we heard Polaroid had started developing new digital cameras with built-in Bluetooth printers, we've all been a little antsy to get our portable printing fix. Luckily for us, Dell has stepped in to help fill in that void with their new Wasabi PZ310 Mobile Printer, just announced yesterday.
The Wasabi utilizes Zero-Ink (ZINK) tech that replaces those annoying cartridges that we seem to go through at an alarming rate each year. Instead, you get ZINK paper, with dye crystals already embedded right into the paper itself. As it feeds through the printer, specific heat signatures create picture-perfect 2x3 prints. Cool, huh?
Because the ZINK tech is patented, expect Polaroid to follow the same tech with their new Pogo cameras hitting shelves later this year. This means you don't need to worry so much about the ZINK tech becoming obsolete any time soon.

so cute! I wonder how much the paper costs?

Zink was developed by Polaroid and the Pogo was at CES.
The print quality was terrible but the concept great. Give it time.
