The Remostyle Universal Remote is what we've always wanted in our remote aesthetically; we like our Harmony 880 remote ok, but it's admittedly not a looker by any means. Besides its modern minimal form, this Asia-only remote is pretty straight forward in terms of specs: controls up to 16 AV components, learning remote, backlit LCD display in either blue or orange, macro key functions, and even a choice of button press sounds (why does all the gear from Asia offer much better UI sounds?)...

And if by chance you wanted to clone and transfer your programmed remote to another Remostyle unit, you can transfer these commands using a special cable for some special sharing is caring action. For those who like energy saving features, the unit automatically turns itself off when nobody is around, only turning itself on when it detects your couch potato shape within its vicinity. The ARS-3000 display is in English (not Engrish), so perhaps if you can find someone heading out to Asia in the near future you can get them to bring you one back.
