10 Best Weight Loss Games for the Wii
Roundup

After recently covering the Cyberbike title for the Wii, we were thinking it was time to look at the other weight loss games for the Wii and roundup the top ten. In some of our picks the fitness goal is explicit, but not always. Our focus was on games that could promote weight loss whether through strength training or the cardio that happens while dancing up a sweat.

110309wiifitness.jpgWhile some of the choices below are obvious (Wii Fit Plus anyone?), like we said above the jump, not all of our picks are to be found in the "heath and fitness" section. Some titles like Samba de Amigo and Punch-Out can offer a great workout simply through the cardio that happens during the game play. Of course we could not forget Dance Dance Revolution the game that really started getting people off the couch and moving. Here are our top ten picks for helping you work off those holiday treats...

Any personal opinions out there of which Wii fitness games have helped you stay in shape or shed some extra pounds?

Way to write a useless list. Some commentary about what you liked, disliked, what kind of activities each game offered, etc would make this post more than just a waste of bits.

DDR will kick your butt -- and it's fun. The equiptment is a bit pricey though.

My mother bought herself a Wii for the fitness games-I'll definitely forward this to her!
P.S.- Way to write a useless comment, ktoth04.

Thanks for this. I have been looking for some ideas to keep the kids active over the winter and you gave me some good ideas to check out.

To ktoth04. A roundup is just that; a roundup of available options for someone to check out. It is not supposed to include a dissertation on each option. So do your homework, learn some English and get a life.
