Of all the tech we saw in 2008, none seemed more versatile than the super-duper-extra-hyped Apple iPhone 3G. It's a great smartphone on it's own, but when you combine it's powers with a programs downloaded from the App Store, you can pretty much turn that little hunk of metal, plastic and wiring into any gadget you want.
