There's no one way to set up your media room. You can hide your TV, display it like a piece of artwork, skip the surround sound, or go all out. Luckily with the right furniture, you can make your media room look less like a sports bar and more like the perfect place to curl up and watch your favorite show. After the jump we take a look at the 10 best looking media rooms we've found this month...

These aren't media rooms they are rooms with a tv in them.

I 1000% agree with the above. Although this is apartmenttherapy, "not we have huge homes that have room for a 13*19 dedicated home theatre".

My head just exploded with ideas. I love Bombie's plastic shelves and Ninainvorm's picture wall. We are constantly moving our media room around. And it is a media room in the most literal sense of the word. Vista media center, servers, various gaming consoles, projector, books, dvds, records, and games stacked on each other, etc. I can never get enough ideas on how to make it work! (maybe i just need some fung shui?)

I have to have the plans for those speakers from the Melbourne HiFi setup. I emailed the guy on Flickr. They are EPIC!
