Frustrated beyond belief, we're sure, about his broken Macbook, a Slashdotter emailed Steve Jobs and actually got a response from his Executive Assistant the next day.


AOL's Password Woes:
If you have an AOL account, note that your password isn't as secure as they'd like you to believe. It looks like you can enter a password of up to 16 characters in length, but really, it only looks at the first 8 and ignores the rest of the characters, which could lead to easy security breaches.


Vista Eating Battery Life:
Vista's supposed to conserve battery power, but it looks to be the opposite when running the Aero interface.
