Remock: Keyless Entry for Your Home

If having the lock to your front door connected and operable through the internet is still a little too tech savvy for comfort, then perhaps something that isn't so accessible but still as convenient is a more reasonable option.

The Remock Lockey is basically a dead bolt with an antenna that can be opened by a keyfob similar to what you have for a car. At $163 it is definitely more expensive than a regular deadbolt, but not outrageously priced. Since my Korean is non-existent, I'm not sure this is true, but unlike the other remote controlled door lock options we have shown you, this one doesn't have a keypad in case the remote doesn't work. That could make for a bad situation when you get home in the middle of the night.

there are many iterations of this thing in south korea (my current home) and they are incredibly convenient. they all (including this model) have a keypad. the entire faceplate slides up, you punch in the code, and slide it back down. that sliding action acts as the "enter" key and the door makes a fun little tonal beep and opens.
