Serious Question:

I love some of the new charging stations beginning to hit the market - BUT - (1) is it good to leave all your chargers plugged in ALL the time - (2) do they draw power when they are just sitting there - and (3) is it ok to leave the "chargee" in the "charger" after it has "charged" for days on end?

Chargers do indeed draw power when not charging something and I read in an article on extending the useful life of a laptop battery that you should charge it and use it or take the battery out if you're planning on using AC power. I'm guessing that means you shouldn't keep charging something if it's fully charged.

Lots of things draw power when not actually "on." If you're worried about it, plug things like the TV, VCR, DVD player, etc. into a plug strip and turn it off when you're not using it.

These are some brilliant office furniture pieces. I would love to have them all especially the Daily System. Maybe like this I would finally have the chance of keeping my office desk tidy. Not to mention the draws. :P
