Flex Wall Console

Need a place to house your CDs? We are digging this wall storage/console table. Flex's wooden slats allow you to house CDs or whatever else might need storing on the wall, and then curves out to provide you with a work surface or console table.

Unfortunately we can't find out much about actually getting our hands on one. It's Italian and designed by Lorenzo Damiani for Montina, and given that information, we'd bet that it's out of our price-range.

Interesting idea, but I think I would get frustrated from having to dig all my pens and pencils out of my desktop.

How about using the Mandal headboard from IKEA? Looks almost the same, although I don't know for sure if the slats fit CDs

That was my immediate thought. I love that slatted wood wall look not for any real function, but for the texture factor.
