Human CD Holder

2007_07_03 human-cd-holder.jpg

With compact discs slowly going the way of the record we wonder why we keep stumbling across interesting CD holders. In any case, if you happen to still have CD's around, or maybe you just have a few favorites that you prefer to listen to directly off the disc, the Human CD holder would be an interesting place to keep them. Fits right in with the James the Doorman doorstop no?

Available for $40 here.

Lots of things come on disk besides music, like games and programs and pictures, and I don't see them being things people only want in electronic form anytime soon.

I agree -- having a CD/DVD is like having a hard copy backup -- I shudder to think when (not if) my hard drives fail, all the data I will be losing if I don't have a hard copy backup...

It's a very cute holder though -- highly impractical, given how few discs it can actually hold -- but cute nevertheless.

I back everything up to an external hard drive (Raid) but if they had a version to hold books you could count me in...
