Loadbearing at ICFF

2007-05-21-loadbearing2.JPGColorful but hardworking storage by Loadbearing was on show at ICFF. Designed by Mathias Frei, these non-stodgy shelves are a welcome addition anywhere in the home, but would really brighten up a home office environment.

So good on so many levels - they are completely customizable and have lots of options for the doors (wood veneers and colorful or metallic powder coated steel) and are serious workhorses as each shelf can hold 220 pounds.

We were very impressed with the quality and sturdiness of the these shelves when we saw them at ICFF, so even though they are not new to AT (Aaron blogged them earlier this spring on AT:NY) we think they are still noteworthy. This system would be our pick for longevity and style in a home workspace...or a kitchen...maybe as a room divider...

More info and the fun-to-try M-shelving Composer can be found at the Loadbearing site.
