Pinel & Pinel's Home Entertainment Trunks

100608pinelpinel01.jpgWe've all certainly know of the term "home theater in a box", but how about a luxurious home theater in a trunk? Inspired by the 1930's style steamer traveling trunks, luxury brand Pinel & Pinel has convinced us that we need to hunt down some vintage traveling trunks and convert them in similar fashion to their oggle worthy collection of entertainment center storage trunks...

The Soprano in green above offers 24 drawers, holding up to 480 CDs. Oh, and did we mention it comes complete with a Bang & Olufsen BeoSound 3200 and 2 BeoLab 3 speakers? Yup, this isn't a Best Buy sales item here.

100608pinelpinel02.jpgThe Movie Trunk is available in 51 colours and offers storage for 48 DVD movies, handsomely appointed in wood, leather and nickeled brass hardware, and opens up to reveal a BeoVision 6-26, DVD/CD player, Belolab 6000 subwoofer and 2 Beolab 3 speakers.

100608pinelpinel03.jpgFor the Mac addict with money to burn (umm, I guess there's not many of them out there now), the I-Trunk Pocket Office is an example of luxurious efficiency of space. Paired up with a 21" iMac, a complimenting JBL Creature Sound System and a Canon Pixma IP90 printer, the fold open office on wheels is high on our IKEA-knock off wish list.

100608pinelpinel04.jpgThe Pic Nic Trunk has rest and relaxation as its primary function, giving a new meaning to an "open bar". 11 drawers. 3 spaces for champagne bottles, one large one for an ice bucket, and a full array of bartending accessories inside make this 007 worthy. Because you need something to sip while watching movies on your matching Movie Trunk...or so we'd imagine.

Check out many more photos to daydream to (or hopefully be inspired to DIY mimic) at Pinel & Pinel's website.
