Zebra Wood Anguilla TV Stand

Anguilla062408-01.jpgProbably the most common question we hear from friends who know we write for Unplggd is about TV stands. As TV sets have slimmed down to thin proportions, people want the furniture that it sits ontop or above of to slim down with it also. We've always liked low profile furniture since it creates a larger sense of space (the illusion of higher ceilings); this Zebra Wood Anguilla TV Stand is a nice example of low profile home theater furniture...

Anguilla062408-02.jpgWe like the two-tier design, with a wide 105" W x 24" D x 14" H dimensions that can fit most any plasma or LCD display ontop (unless you're rolling deep and can afford one of those new 108" screens), with three drawers for storing your remotes, cables and your movie collection within. More information here.

Arrrrgh. No matter how gorgeous, media stands always seem to make the same mistake over and over. Drawers. Instead of cabinets. Where does the blueray player go? Where does the Tivo go? Where does the AppleTV go? In the drawers? Or stacked on top of that beautiful media stand? Because that would look great.

Media Stand designers: drawers are wonderful, but give us someplace to put the electronics out of sight. Please.
