We have one. It does look nice, but I don't think it performs any better than your standard Dust Buster.

I wouldn't ever have one in my home. It looks dorky and intrusive. I don't need a dunce cap sitting on the floor.

They never show in the photos the wire & plug. Most people end up putting this on the floor near an outlet. Who needs that?

I bought one because I thought it was the most stylish little mini-vac I'd ever seen. I was sadly disappointed. It will pick up dust balls, but not anything larger (like the bits of hay my bunnies track around). Also, it needs to be emptied every time you use it (even for a little bit of crumbs) and the filter needs to be picked clean regularly (Ewww...). My filter looked like it needed replacing after a week or two, and I feel like that is wasteful and expensive. So, I wouldn't recommend it.

However... if you want to try one, I will sell mine really cheap. Still looks like new.

I have one - it's certainly no more effective than a "regular" dustbuster or dirt devil, but I like that it has a more efficient footprint, and (depending on what color you get), can be hidden fairly easily. Mine, of course, sits next to my Roomba. I really only use it to get into the corners that my Roomba can't reach.

It's better than a normal dust buster, but creates new problems.

Has good angles. But very little dirt capacity. Hard to hold because it just wants to naturally slip out of your hands. Vacuuming my car, my hand quickly became tired after holding it for a few minutes. I ended up grabbing it around the widest part just to keep a hold of it.

Design over function. Sadly. I'll keep ours because we bought it with a gift card to replace our dying normal dust buster. Otherwise, I'd take it back.

It looks like something you would sit next to your toilet.

I have one and don't like it, so it sits in a corner not bedeviling dirt. A bad case of function following form.

The thing looks and feels as if it's going to slip out of your hand, so I tend to hold it with an iron grip.

Even worse, to return the devil to the base after use, you have to line up a mini-plug on the dustbuster with a mini-socket on the base. Neither is visible unless you get down on your hands and knees in the corner you've stuck the machine in... no visual clues on the outside of the cone.

I suppose I could make a Sharpie mark on the cone where the two meet, but, hey, shouldn't the dirt devils have thought of that?

While I find I agree with most of the criticisms above, I still love the thing. Why? Well, maybe it's just because my previous mini vacuum was so bad (what was it anyway? I think it was a Black & Decker). Previous vacuum required forever to charge, didn't hold a charge long enough to do anything, had little suction. This one is kind of decorative (in blue, anyway), charges quickly, holds its charge just about forever (and I almost never have the base plugged in due to rabbits who like to sample cords) and energetically picks up fur, SMALL bits of hay, dust, stray droppings, etc.

I agree it's not the most sensible shape to hold onto, it needs to be emptied regularly if you have a rabbit (I don't think it would without the fur buildup), and it's ridiculously difficult to get the vacuum aligned in the base. But it does its job well in my apartment.

I really love this vacuum. It's great for small clean ups, and obviously not a full-scale vacuum. And yes, you do have to clean it after every use, and you SHOULD clean it after every use. And no, it's not hard to hold if you have basic motor skills.
Though I would say that if you have a house or a larger apartment, it probably won't do much good for you, since it's kinda a small space product.

Good lord, such vitriol! It's a little hand-vac for cleaning up spills; when you get coffee grinds all over, or spill half the sugar dispenser on the floor. It's not a vacuum and not meant for vacuuming car interiors like a shop-vac.

I love it. It was more powerful than I expected and has a rubber tip so that it won't scratch things. I've used it for picking up litter that my cats kick around and dust bunnies and getting the dust out of the vents on my iMac, which is when that rubber tip was appreciated.

The LED light in the base helps if you put it in a spot where a nightlight would be useful. The excess cord can be wrapped up in the base so it's nice and neat. The charge lasts a good amount of time too.

And it was only $60, so I had realistic expectations and knew it wasn't going to be a Dyson.
