The iLugger sounds ridiculous if you are an Apple user. If you regularly lug your iMac around with you, you bought the wrong device. You need a MacBook. Even hard-core LAN party gamers use notebooks.
On the other hand, I *can* see the need for a bag like this if you are a UMPC user who goes on long trips and tends to write proposals in the hotel room at night. I'm a UMPC user (Sony UX) and it's so much better for my way of mobile computing than a regular full-size notebook. It's light, pocketable and does the whole web and short emails on the road thing perfectly. I don't go on business trips, but I know of UMPC users who do. In their case, bringing a normal flat panel monitor and a portable keyboard would be ideal for typing up a proposal back at the hotel room while carrying the computer around with them in their jacket pocket for the rest of the day.
